Fusebox Programs
For the past eighteen years, much of our work has centered around festivals. We’ve been particularly interested in how a festival can share remarkable live experiences, and also live in a more meaningful relationship with a place.
Today our work focuses on five primary areas:
- Festivals
- Year-round events
- Access
- Support for artists
- Civics
Read more below to learn more about our initiatives.
Fusebox Festival
Our annual performance festival that takes place in multiple sites across Austin each April. The festival features adventurous artists from Austin and the world and is 100% free to attend.
Learn MoreLive in America
Our newly created festival which celebrates the rich diversity of live performance + cultural practices across the U.S. and its territories. This project is ongoing and will culminate in a new festival every three years in a different location.
Learn MoreFree Range Art
Free Range Art is our innovative initiative that make both of our festivals 100% free to attend, greatly reducing barriers to access.
Learn MoreYear Round Programming
Throughout the year we partner with art centers, festivals, and other organizations to present some of our favorite artists working in Austin and the world, creating more opportunities to connect and experience unique performances.
Learn MoreCivics
Fusebox operates from a deep belief that our work is not separate from life. This has led to an ongoing series of projects that address some of the most vital issues facing us as a city and as a global community.
