Described as "The most intellectually challenging and forward-thinking dance troupe around" (Portland Mercury), Contemporary Dance/Performance Art Company, tEEth, continues to explore work that defies convention and comfort. Led by Co-Artistic Directors, Angelle Hebert and Phillip Kraft, this Portland, Oregon based ensemble returns to the Fuse Box Festival with their new work, Grub, a National Performance Network Creation Fund Project co-commissioned by On the Boards (Seattle) in partnership with Refraction Arts (Austin) and the National Performance Network. In an isolated, manufactured, and filtered reality, Grub integrates sensory-rich movement and performance art, live video, original music and singing to explore the absence of human connection and truth. Exploring life’s beauty and often, grotesque absurdity, this new work serves an uncompromising and poignant glimpse of humanity in the digital age.
