Heloise Gold lives in Austin. She is a performing/artist, dancer, T’ai Chi instructor and co-director of Art From The Streets (a project for homeless artists.) Her career traverses numerous paths beginning with childhood appearances with the Bolshoi Ballet (1962) to performing in Robert Wilson’s legendary 12 hour opera The Life And Times Of Joseph Stalin (1973); to participating in many experimental happenings in NYC in the 1970’s; to touring with The Deborah Hay Dance Company (1980’s); to creating numerous original works spanning 25 years.

She currently collaborates with experimental performers in Austin, New York and Europe and most recently danced in a tribute concert for new music pioneer Pauline Oliveros at Columbia University.

Travis Weller

Travis Weller is a native Texan. He is a self-taught composer, and has been a violinist for over 20 years. Travis is one of the founders of Austin New Music Co-op. His music has been commissioned by ensembles in Europe and in various cities around the US. As an avid advocate of new music, Travis has performed a wide variety of experimental works from mid-20th century onward and has worked directly with many internationally- known artists including John Butcher, Phill Niblock, Olivia Block, Ellen Fullman, Jeph Jerman, Fred Lonberg-Holm, Pauline Oliveros, and Arnold Dreyblatt. He has participated in the composer’s residency program at STEIM in Amsterdam and is the recipient of two grants from “Meet the Composer.”
